MARCH 12TH UPDATE
STATEMENT REGARDING CORONAVIRUS
March 12, 2020
I wanted to let you know that we will be canceling Calvary Assembly’s in-person service this Sunday, as well as Next Steps University on Saturday, and next Wednesday Night’s Activities. We’ve come to this decision after carefully considering the wisdom being shared by leaders from our state and our county in response to COVID-19, or CoronaVirus. Calvary Assembly is committed to being a safe place for all. In this situation and at this time we believe it is wise to be proactive by canceling our in-person gatherings this weekend.
Though our church family won’t be meeting in-person this Sunday, we will still be gathering online! Online services will never replace meeting in-person, but attending church online is a powerful way for us to stay connected. We will be live-streaming services at 9:30 am and 11 am on our live.rcalvary.org and Facebook.com/rCalvary. On these platforms, you can comment and interact with each other, and I will be logged in as well to chat with you about the service.
If you need any help accessing those platforms or understanding how they work, please call our church office during business hours at (585) 889-0190 or email firstname.lastname@example.org.
As we receive more updates about CoronaVirus, we will keep you in the loop about future services and events. At this moment in time, our only planned cancellation is for this Saturday’s, Sunday’s and Wednesday’s gatherings.
Please join with us in praying for:
- Healing for those who are ill.
- Faith to invade anxious hearts and anxious thoughts.
- Wisdom for those who care for our health and governmental systems.
We’re praying with you and for you.
Pastor Bob and Pastor Jonathan Sigmon
