My mom called and let me know that my cousins in Central Iowa had found my uncle (& their dad & Mom's brother) today. He'd lived alone and passed a few days ago. This last year and a half has been harsh for that part of my family, having lost several of my aunts & uncles.

Please pray that they feel God's comfort and love. Pray for my 70 year old mom's safety as she makes the 4-hour drive back alone in this semi-post-COVID time.

Thank you.

Please pray that God would help me to overcome sin issues in my life and to have boldness to serve God. Also pray that God would heal my body. Finally pray that God would help me in searching for a job and help me to be diligent and not lazy!

There are a number of families from the Democratic Republic of Congo who have been resettled here in Rochester that are a part of a small ethnic minority called the Banyamulenge. They as a community held a peaceful protest in front of the Federal Building downtown to bring attention to the oppression that is happening right now among their family who attempted to return to their region several years ago.

All of these folks who live in Rochester have family and friends who had to flee their homes again recently-including their grandparents who felt they were too old to resettle in a completely new country like the US.

Will you join me in praying for personal peace for those family members here in the US, as they are afraid for their families, and for God to show His power in bringing peace and safety to the Banyamulenge families who remain in the DRC?

An Afghani gentleman arrived this past weekend in Rochester with his son. Mr Majib Habibi, age 76, applied for what’s called a Special Immigration Visa in 2007-14 years ago. His son was obviously a minor at that time, so has been included with his visa. Majib’s wife has had to remain in Afghanistan while she waits for her visa to be approved.

Will you join me in asking God to provide for Mr. Habibi and his son’s physical and spiritual

Please continue to pray for our daughter and son in law who have been struggling with infertility and recently experienced several failed IUIs and a failed IVF. While we are all grieving, we are still hopeful.

This is a praise report! The cousin of our son-in-law was tragically murdered. The perpetrator has been found and is in custody. We pray for a fair trial and ultimately for salvation for those who are lost in this tragic situation.

Come as you are. You don’t have to dress up or pretend like you have it all together. We will meet for 65 minutes and in that time we will sing some songs about God’s love, have an engaging teaching that will encourage and challenge you, and participate in prayer that inspires you.
