My mom was diagnosed with breast cancer and has to have a double mastectomy- she already has several other health issues including heart issues and is on blood thinners which complicates any other medical procedures. Her surgery is scheduled for one week after our daughter leaves to spend a semester abroad. I am feeling very stressed and overwhelmed with all this going on. Pray for the surgery to go well with no complications and for peace about it all.
