I prayed for this

Prayed for 11 times.

There are a number of families from the Democratic Republic of Congo who have been resettled here in Rochester that are a part of a small ethnic minority called the Banyamulenge. They as a community held a peaceful protest in front of the Federal Building downtown to bring attention to the oppression that is happening right now among their family who attempted to return to their region several years ago.

All of these folks who live in Rochester have family and friends who had to flee their homes again recently-including their grandparents who felt they were too old to resettle in a completely new country like the US.

Will you join me in praying for personal peace for those family members here in the US, as they are afraid for their families, and for God to show His power in bringing peace and safety to the Banyamulenge families who remain in the DRC?

Come as you are. You don’t have to dress up or pretend like you have it all together. We will meet for 65 minutes and in that time we will sing some songs about God’s love, have an engaging teaching that will encourage and challenge you, and participate in prayer that inspires you.
